Lake Assessment Program 2003 and 2004 Pelican, Stearns County

Pelican was one of three lakes monitored by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) in Stearns County as part of our Lake Assessment Program (LAP) in 2004. Pelican was also monitored in 2003 by the MPCA and both years of monitoring will be discussed in this report. The other two lakes studied in Stearns County in 2004 were Eden (73-0150) and Vails (73-0151), which are addressed in a separate report. The Pelican Lake of St. Anna Association (Association) applied for the assessment with concerns about recent water quality and weed growth.
