Lake Assessment Program 1990 - Third Crow Wing Lake, Hubbard County, Minnesota

Third Crow Wing Lake is located about 6 miles south of Nevis, Minnesota, in Hubbard County. With a surface area of 636 acres it is in the upper 5 percent of lakes in the state in terms of size (MDNR, 1968). Third Crow Wing Lake was sampled during the summer of 1990 by MPCA staff along with citizens from the Third Crow Wing association and Hubbard County as a part of the Lake Assessment Program. The work described in this study was undertaken upon the request of the Third Crow Wing Lake Association.
