Lakes Sylvia and Twin, Wright County-Water Quality and Trend Assessment: 1995

This assessment of Sylvia and Twin Lakes, Wright County was conducted at the request of the Greater Lake Sylvia (Association). These lakes were previously studied by Dr. Keith Knutson, St. Cloud State University in 1979. Some of the data acquired during that study is incorporated into this assessment. Lake Sylvia and Twin were also featured in an MPCA report entitled Lake Water Quality Trends in Minnesota in 1993. The current study was conducted in order to assess the current water quality and any changes in water quality which may have occurred over time as a result of changes in the watershed or as the result of other factors. Previously collected MPCA data and 22 years of Citizens Lake Monitoring Program (CLMP) Secchi disk data are the primary data assessed in this report.""
