Tile Intercepting Wetlands for Nitrate Reduction

In this south central landscape wetlands commonly intercept tile water high in nitrates. This presents an opportunity to use the natural bioremediation features to reduce nitrate load prior to entering a wellhead protection area near St. Peter MN. This concept was used in concert with control structures and additional treatment area to protect downstream resourcs.
